Title: Stop to noise: ideas competition for the students and six hundred questionnaires in the houses.
Short Description: Regarding the experience of study-work, the students of the “Istituto Mapelli” of Monza will participate in the competition of ideas to create a logo and a slogan for the Low Emission Zone in the district of Libertà. In addition, a questionnaire was sent to six hundred families in the district of Liberty in order to acquire information on the perception that citizens have of their district in terms of safety and general well-being.

Title: The “Noise Low Emission Zones” such as solution for the control of noise in urban contest. The Life Monza Project.
Short Description: Objective of introduction of the Noise LEZ aims to improve air quality, decrease noise and doing positive complementarian effects on the citizens’ life quality also. Pilot area is characterized by significant medium levels of noise pollution and it was indicated such as critical area by Action Plan on noise realize by Monza based on END requirements. To achieve the aims of the project, a series of actions have been defined to adopt specific measures to implement the project and to involve the community in active management system of choices.

The new LIFE MONZA app
The new app of the "Life Monza" Project was born from an idea developed through the project co-financed by the European Community through the Life 2015 financial program. An ambitious scenario, aimed to experiment and develop a new management methodology for the Noise Low Emission Zone.

Life Monza in smart working
During the health emergency caused by COVID-19, also the partners of the Life Monza project are working in team in smart working mode, drafting the conclusive documents of the project and planning the final event foreseen for June.

Training activities for the personnel of the municipality of Monza
The first of the two days of training on the smart noise monitoring system installed in the pilot area Libertà took place today, May 29. The next lesson is scheduled for June 9, 2020.
